"JS" isn't a mint mark. It's the initials of the coin's designer, John Sinnock. His monogram appears under FDR's portrait.

...No, barring a proof or mint-state example or one with a rare die variety or error. All 1972 pennies are only worth face value.
Most 1955 cents are not rare and are only worth about 3 to 5 cents to a collector. The only rare variety is the double-die cent that clearly shows two images on the front, slightly offset from each other. These can be worth $900 to over $2000 depending on their condition. See the link below for a picture.
This caused by a filled or worn die and is common adding little if anything to the value of 5 cents
It depends on the error. If the coin is damaged and the 4 is missing, it takes away value of the coin. If the coin isn't damaged its possible it is a grease filled die, a minor error that adds only cents to the coin's value. If worn/damaged the coin is worth about 2-3 cents. If uncirculated the coin is worth about $2-3 with the grease filled die.

August 11, 2009 The bar over the "0" is an error. This occured when something caused a scratch or a dent in the surface of the die used to make the coin. Minor errors such as this are not usually of great interest to collectors and will affect the value of this coin very little if at all. In circulated condition this coin has a value of about 50 cents to $1 in higher grades. Uncirculated values range from $6 to $30 in the more common grades.

You probably have a filled-die error. The image inside the memorial is small and that part of the die can fill with grease or other crud, so the image is blurred or obliterated. Given the number of cents struck each year, filled-die errors are pretty common so you might not get more that 25 or 50 cents for your error.
Look at the coin again it may be missing or have other details that are weak. This is likely caused from a filled die and is common. As to value some people do collect this stuff so take it to a dealer for an idea of value
