Eat less, exercise more. you aren't in school all day, when you get out go for a bike ride, or a run or play sports or something.. Cut back on the calories, either eat less or eat low calorie food like vegetables and fruits.

Count the calories you eat everyday, try to stay below 1300, the pounds will fall off.

The average healthy weight of a 5'9 male is 145-160.... give or take.
