This may not be the answer you are seeking but... The Indian Artillery Regiment wore a cap badge just like the British Royal Artillery Regiment except it has a Star on top in place of a Crown. Under the Star and above the Cannon is the word INDIA. The motto on the scroll under the Cannon is "IZZAT O IQBAL". (Updated info: I had to check the badge in my collection)
