Burn them onto a CD or DVD to archive them, vs having a bunch of negatives laying around. 2. E-mail them to friends and family 3. Upload them to internet sites such as kodak.com and shutterfly.com to create things such as calendars, photobooks, mugs, shirts, greeting cards, etc. 4. Easily crop, zoom, and edit photos. 5. You can change color photos to black and whites with the click of a button. 6. You can print them if you want an actual photograph. 7. You only print the photos you want, vs having an entire roll of film developed and printed in order to get the three good photos on the roll. 8. It's cheaper than buying film and paying to get it developed. 9. You can view the photo as soon as it's taken so you know if someone blinked, etc. There is therefore no need to take the same photo ten times to make sure you got a good one. 10. Most of them also take video. 11. You can use any computer and printer.

Harmful Effects:
