I know lots of people that want a dog that does not shed, but refuse to brush a dog more than a few minutes a day. There is no dog with short hair that truly does not shed! That said, I have to say my favorite dog that doesn't shed is the greyhound. They do shed some, but is so little an amount it isn't detectable. If you want dogs that don't shed, period, its got to be the maltese. But my opinion isn't the law (or is it?), and you might prefer something else.

∙ 15y agoThere is a dog with no fur,(but he's hec ugly!!) and dogs that don't have much fur would be good. Boxer: maybe. depends on the age of kids -6 not good Golden Retriver: loyal dog, but needs alot of excersize, and sheds alot.

∙ 13y agoProbably the golden retriever. Labradors are really friendly but they aren't usually as aware of their size as golden retrievers are, and usually knock over small children.
