"Best" is a very subjective term. The T-cab Scania or NH series Volvo may be considered the best by some, but it would doubtful be the best for a new driver who isn't accustomed to operating a vehicle of that size, nor would a conventional (bonneted) tractor from North America be an ideal choice for European roads. If I were to own a fleet, what the fleet was would depend on the drivers I was hiring. I wouldn't have the added expense of a Scania or Volvo if I were hiring inexperienced drivers - I'd probably choose DAF or MAN, instead. If I had well experienced drivers, then my preferences might lean towards the aforementioned Scania or Volvo.
This is, of course, assuming I were the owner of a fleet in the UK or Continental Europe.
