Best Answer

For Lvls 3-20: Train on the wizards on the path northwest of Port Sarim.

Lvls 21-49: Train on Skeletons.

Lvls 50-100: Train on Demons (lesser or greater, and you might need Silverlight)

Lvls 101 and higher: Train on monsters greater than lvl 126.

The best monster to train would probably be Kalphite Queen (if you're a high lvl), and it is somewhere around lvl 300.(even at a high level kq is a hard hitter and a hard battle if you do this i recommend a partner!) Or if you are above level 50 you could go giant Spiders in the stronghold of security, if you have the barrow set of guthan's it is the 2nd best defensive experience earner in the game

To train any combat skill you have ( 2 ) choices both of which are members:

- Experiments ( Level 25 - 400 exp per kill, 100hp ) These are located near Fenkenstrains Castle, under one of the grave stones, you will need to do a certain quest to gain access ( Creature of Fenkenstrain ) this is a very popular training spot for melee combat.

- Fire Giants ( Level 83 ) These are located in Baxtorian Falls, near Tree Gnome Stronghold, this is a popular training spot for mages and rangers.

Dagonnoths (Lighthouse quest)

Armoured Zombies (during Defender of varrock quest)

Monkey guards on Ape Atoll (during Monkey Madness)

Rock Crabs (no quests needed and are good for low-levels)

Green Drags/Blue Drags

Ogres near Yanille

Lesser/Greater Demons

Note: Do slayer as much as you can! If you're a lvl 138 with like.. 13 slayer then fml.

Hope this helps: Level 1-10

You start at Lumbridge at level one and you look around and see goblins everywhere. You should at least gain one or two levels from goblins. Then you move to cows or chicken. Kill cows and chicken, and take their meat. Their meat comes in handy later on when you need food for health points. Once you hit level 5, head towards Varrock. In Varrock, there are giant rats outside of the walls and inside of the sewers. Sewers are the best place to kill giant rats. When you enter Varrock from the East gate, you go north on the first split in the main road. You head up and to the left of the museum is a sewer door. Go down the ladder and you will end up in the Varrock sewers. Kill giant rats till about level 10. Once you hit level 10,upgrade your armor and weapon. Level 11-20

You should head south to Al-Kharid. Go to the big building on the map, which is the Al-Kharid palace. In the palace you will find Al-Kharid warriors. One tip before you fight them is that when you attack one, the others will attack you as well. There is a fishing spot by the bank in Al-Khalid to get food if you run out. Train on Al-Khalid warriors till you are about level 20. Al-Khalid warriors are good to train on even after level 20 because of the aggressive factor. They spawn very fast, and all come after you. After you hit level 20, you should upgrade your armor and weapon. You should fish for meat, or kill cows. Cook the meats and have them ready for your next training session. Level 21-30

Now, make your way towards Edgeville. When you are at Edgeville, you will see 2 yew trees in a separated building. In the room next to that are coffins. There is an entrance to the Edgeville Dungeon in the room with the coffins. Go in it. When you are in the dungeon, go straight and you will see level 21 skeletons. You can train on these from level 21 to 23 or so, then move on. Go through the gate, and keep running until you see level 25 skeletons. Train on these until you hit level 30. If training is going slow for you, then keep going forward and take a right. When you take a right you will find level 18 zombies. These are fairly easy to kill. Before you leave the dungeon, keep going forward until you see another gate. Go through the gate and through the mining room. Take a left and take another left into a small room. In this room there is a brass key in the top right corner. Take the key, because it comes in handy. Level 30-55

Take the brass key you got from the dungeon, and bring it with you. Make your way out of Varrock west gate. Go straight till you reach the bridge leading to the Barbarian Village. Don't cross the bridge, instead head north until you reach a small building. Open the door with your brass key, and go down the stairs. This is a shortcut to the Edgeville dungeon. In the dungeon you will see hill giants. These give decent experience points, and give good drops. Train on these till about level forty five. Once you hit forty five, head out of the dungeon, and go towards Varrock. Go back to the sewers in Varrock, and follow the path. Make sure you have a knife with you at all times. Make your way through the sewers until you see spider webs. Use your knife to cut them down, and follow the path. Put your run on and run past the red spiders. Now you will see moss giants. Moss giants have a lot of hp, so they give you a lot of experience. They give a lot of good drops. Kill these until level 50. Now make your way to Falador. In Falador, enter the castle and kill the white knights. Kill these until level 55. You can kill them afterwards, but if you have upgraded your weapon and armor until level 50, then you can perhaps kill ice monsters. Ice monsters are located at the blurite cave. Level 56-90

The blurite cave is located south of Port Sarim. It is on the peninsula. There is a ladder leading down into the cave. In the cave are hobgoblins, ice warriors, and ice giants. Ice giants are level 52 and Ice warriors are level 57. Make your way to the ice, and start fighting the Ice warriors. Try to find a spot near a corner where you won't be double teamed. Kill these until level 80 or so. Do quests in between levels, and training sessions to help you hit level 80 faster. Quests are a great source to get experience. Once you hit level 80, make your way to the Karamja dungeon. In the dungeon, there are lesser demons. Lesser demons have a lot of hp, so you will gain a lot of experience. They put up quite a fight though. For non-members Lesser Demons are the best way to level up. Please Note: This is a capture-all Question, since this question is asked a lot.

There is very few good places you can train other than Runescape's main bosses, Like KBD, Kalphite Queen etc. there is Fire Giants at Baxtorian falls, but the largely populated. There is also Dag's ( Horror From The Deep ), Monkey Guards ( Monkey Madness ), And some mini-games are good as well.

you can train on lesser demons (in the karamja valcano) or greater demons (found deep in wilderness)- both are non-member

or if you are a member you can train on green dragons in level 20 wilderness which is also profitable because it is 100% drop for dragon bones (about 2k) and green dragonhide (about 1.5k)

Jag272:you can do that or if dont wanna risk die kill hillies.get drag scim you are perfect for Monkey madness i did at same lv.add jaggillon if u need help on monkey madness

There is a caged demon inside the mages tower top floor in Draynor, that ones also good for ranged, but tends to be taken by other players for training.

There is also if you have done the Heroes quest, the Blue Dragon whom is also caged and there is a safe spot you can cast or range it as well inside the cage.
