Ask your printer!
You want to give a printer originals that are at least as highly resloved as their print process. Many print shops can print with resolutions of about 600 dpi (dots per inch). sou if you have more than 600 pixels per inch than you shoould be OK and not suffer too much degradation.

How do you increase the format size of JPEG pictures to a higher resolution so that you print them?

You can artificially increase the resolution of a jpeg image in Adobe Photoshop, but there will be a loss in quality because data is "invented" through a process called interpolation. A low resolution image only contains X amount of data, and to increase its resolution, you are telling the computer software to add nonexistent data to the picture file. This is generally ok if you're only increasing the resolution by 10% for general print purposes, but to make a dramatic increase in resolution such as 72 dpi to 300 dpi, the image will most likely artifact (pixelate). The best and obvious solution would be to acquire the original image.

What is the best image compressor for making image files smaller?

Depends for what the image is going to be used. If it's for a high resolution printing such as print ad in a magazine or poster TIFF format with LZW is preferred for quality purpose. JPEG format gives more options for compressing an image, especially for web usages or not for high quality printing purpose. Also it depends on the original image quality and resolution, if the quality of the original image is good, then JPEG will be a good option to use.

How do you print a file as a jepeg format?

First: I assume you mean JPEG (or JPG) format. ((I have never come across jepeg as a format)) JPEG is an image format and most any image handling program can print it.If you have a file that does end in .jepeg, try renaming it .jpeg (or .jpg) and printing that.To print an image sometimes you can just right-click the image and select "Print" from the contest menu! If you have any program that recognizes the file it will open and open te print dialog (or Windows print wizard will open)

Can you have a poster printed from a small JPEG image that you downloaded from the internet?

It depends on the exact resolution of the image (check the properties) but probably not as you will get image blurring and pixellation.

How do you convert JPEG into docx?

2 steps: 1-Convert from docx to pdf. There are several ways to do this, but the best way is (In word) hit Command+P to print. In the print window in the bottom left corner there is a little PDF button. Click that and press "Save as PDF", it is easiest to save to the desktop. 2-Convert from pdf to jpeg Open the converted jpeg in Preview and go File - save as.... In that window there is a choice of many formats, including jpeg. Set the quality and pixel resolution and hit save. Presto!

Why images same resolution different size?

I assume we are talking here about JPEG images. The reason is very simple, the final size of the JPEG depends on the compression ratio, other JPEG parameters and the image content itself. Therefore in digital cameras for example they trade image size for speed using a weaker compression scheme, while personal computer programs use more complex algorithms obtaining better image sizes.

What exactly does JPEG stand for when you save a file image?

A JPEG is a format that an image file can be saved as. The acronym JPEG stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group. This was the development group for 24-bit colour image storage.

Do digital photos from disc lose quality each time you print?

A JPEG image loses quality when it is opened and resaved due the compression algorithms. The more an image is opened and resaved, the more the quality can degrade. An image on a disc will not lose quality unless you resave it on a CD-RW. Opening an image to print will not affect the quality.

What are some everyday examples where an image may be magnified but resolution is not improved?

This regularly happens with computer images of the bitmap type (for example, a JPEG file), if you increase its size.
