Water barrier for a steel or alum wall above ground pool you want to bury inground? Your best bet if you insist to bury the pool is going to be make sure the soil up against the pool for 2' is a good coarse sand with proper drainage, that will give you the best chance for a wall lasting a while. Hard to say how long the wall will last as the pool you describe was never intended for inground installation. ******PLEASE BE SURE to install a fence around the swimming pool according to your local code for Swimming Pools. As your pool is now a hazard for Children and without a fence would offer no protection from accidents. ********* good luck getapool.com good swimming take care
