by pass code for dual xdvd700
So far (Nov. 2009) Dual has not released the permanent code for the 9101. The only thing you can do right now it the e-brake or a toggle switch. Happy motoring.

You know that is illegal right? Yes but that was not the question. Is there a code or can a toggle be used? No there is no code it how it's wired up. Ground out the parking trigger wire on the head unit.
Yes! That's basically what the parking break is... a switch that turns it on and off.
Go to set up screen scroll down to clock press the on the screen number will pop up set time
Dual Air Brake Diagram
If you're wanting to watch DVD's or use the rear camera while not in park, ground the pink "Brake" wire. Don't connect to 12v. Must ground it.
If you haven't changed it, the default is "0000". If you have, you should have written the code down when you did, check the owners manual. If its stolen, you are out of luck because the password exists to lock out the unit after it loses power for 5 seconds and frustrate thieves after they steal the radio as it makes them worthless at pawn shops.
I found this on amazon. I don't know if it works so am going to give it a try. Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/Dual-Bypass-Lockout-Orignal-Automatic/dp/B0047X0W72/ref=sr_1_cc_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1296939798&sr=1-2-catcorr "You know it is illegal to do that don't you/" ^^^^think before you reply to peoples questions and don't leave ignorant answers. For show cars and off road use, or if you have a kid that wants to watch movies in the back seat the bypass allows the system to play while your driving, normally there is a ground wire that connects to the brake wire that connects to your in dash brake warning light, when the brake is on it sends a signal to the head unit allowing it to play. There are several ways to bypass this and I wouldn't waste your money on buying one offline. just go down to the audio video shop (don't go to best buy or a place like that) and ask them about the laws...I cant write anymore hope this helps -Kevin-
