if you refer to a small rubber hat like object on the bleeder screw, then you just peel it off. the purpose of the cap is to keep dirt and moisture out of the bleeder hole for flushing
remove caliper. may be chrome cap on top bolt you have to remove to get to the 8mill bolt. slide off caliper and press in piston. change pads and reinstall
to remove the caliper you have to remove the chrome cap off the top bolt then use a 8mm socket to remove it. quarter inch drive was the only one i could get in there.
1. Remove the brake hose to caliper bolt from the brake caliper. 2. Remove the brake hose from the brake caliper. 3. Remove and discard the 2 copper brake hose gaskets. These gaskets may be stuck to the brake caliper and/or the brake hose end. 4. Cap or plug the opening in the brake caliper and the brake hose to prevent fluid loss and contamination. 5. Remove the 2 brake caliper pin bolts. Remove the park brake cable from the caliper. 6. Remove the brake caliper from the brake caliper bracket.
I assume you are replacing brake pads? To remove the calipers you need to loosen the bleed valves on the top or back of the caliper (they look like a bolt with a hole in them and usually have a rubber cap). Next you compress the caliper with a C clamp and then tighten the bleed valve. Now remove the two bolts from the back (inside) of the caliper and it should fall off in your hand.

Should be 2 mounting bolts one on top one on bottom remove these and slide caliper off rotor
Remove wheels Remove caliper mounting bolts Slide caliper off rotor The S-10 rotor is also the wheel mount. There is a cap that needs to be removed from the end of the rotor. Under the cap is a pin locked nut, you need to remove the pin by bending the top of it carefully and then pull it out. Remove the nut holding on the rotor. the rotor should slide off now replace the rotor reverse the order being sure to apply new grease to the system.
You need to remove the wheel, the caliper and the caliper mount. After you do that you can remove the caliper.
There are two caliper possibilities. The first has a metal wedge at the top bent into the shape of a diamond. This needs to be driven out with a hammer and screwdriver, then the caliper lifts out. The second type has two screws on the back side, one at the top and one at the bottom. Remove these and the caliper pulls towards you.
Find the cap at the top of the valve cover. Remove the cap and add the oil.
LOOSEN& REMOVE THE 2 BOLT FROM BEHIND THE CALIPER TOP & BOTTOM. I THINK ITS A 1/4 IN. SOCKET. THEM YOU MIGHT HAVE TO TAP THE CALIPER WITH A HAMMER TO GET IT LOOSE, WHEN LOOSE REMOVE IT FROM ROATAR..
