first of all I believe you are talking about "flour" which is a compound used to bake and cook in the kitchen and if its a compound that means several items are used to make this substance up. "flower" as spelled is the things that grow from the earth after a seed has buded with light, water, photosynthesis to make it's roots take and live.

Flour is not a chemical compound it is a mixture. It contains amongst other things a large proportion of starches, polysaccharides
