For air cooled "classic" Beetle or Super Beetle, 17 lbs in front tires, 27 in rear tires. For road trip (longer distance driving) add 2 lbs additional to each wheel. This is correct and will make the driving/steering much better.
needs wheel balance .maybe needs air in tires
30-32 mpg Expect to get around 28 mpg in mixed driving.
