It may be the brake pads moving slightly inside the calipers. If the noise also happens when going over bumps, check the shims.
When the mechanic replaced your pads and rotors, he did not put them back the right way. You need to take the car back to the shop and make him fix them.
There is no sound if they are in good working order.
the sound is coming from your shockers...i think they need some lubrication..or get them checked if they need a replacement
brake shoes or pads are worn and need replacing
This usually means that a belt is going out on the car and needs to be replaced. Usually the time belt makes this noise. Also this could be your fan and that sometimes needs to be replaced. This could be inaccurate, but that is the most logical. No matter what it is best to get these small problems fixed right away because it will just be more expensive when your car breaks further because of this.
Do change the car & buy a new one, Simple!
My car (year 2000 S500) has the car shaking a bit and clicking or clanking sound when idling. Was told it is due to bad catalyst converter (the inside was broken). Are those the symtoms or there are other symtoms? Please advise. Thanks.
Brake controllers are used in car towing systems by securing the automobile being towed to the tow truck. The brake controllers prevent the car from moving.
This happened to my 04 neon. I had to replace the sparks plugs and the thermostat.
you need brake pads
Have your brake pads checked. If the squeaking sound stop when you apply the brakes it may be your brake pad wear indicators rubbing the rotors to warn you to have your brake pads replaced. If you ignore it damage will result when the rotors and metal brake pad backing or rivets rub after the brake pad linings are worn away.
I hope you take it to a garage and have the brakes inspected. Might be a brake fluid leak.
