DDR3 (Double Data Rate, 3 channel) is the next generation of SDRAM. It has transfer rates twice as fast as DDR2 at the same clock speed. and the new technology allows for a maximum stick size of 8Gb meaning a maximum module size of 16Gb. It is not compatible with DDR2.
I recently purchased a RAM randomly and I told my friend about the purchase and he asked me a question is it DDR 3 or DDR 4 or DDR 5? I told him it's not DDR RAM. lol Does anyone know what is the difference between the three and which is the best for an average user or video editor in Camtasia?
