Should operate at 180 > 185 F. for std set up. I have a 73 Satellite sebring with 400 4bbl & run std specs. Have accurate temp guage ( after market ) & she runs from 175 to 185, even in the 40 + degrees ( celcius ) heat we get here in Australia.
cheers

what is the firing order for a 1970 Plymouth roadrunner with a 383 engine
the 383 magnum engine roadrunner in 1969 had 335 horse, the 1968 383 roadrunner had 325 horse.

The 1997 Plymouth Voyager 3.0 liter engine coolant capacity is 5.5 gallons. The coolant should be at a minimum of 50 percent antifreeze.
The thermostat in a car regulates the coolant temperature inside the engine. When the engine is cold, the thermostat is closed, allowing the heat from the combustion chamber to heat the fluid (coolant) in the coolant galleys in the engine block. Once the engine reaches an optimal temperature, the thermostat opens, allowing coolant to flow through the radiator. The thermostat then controls the flow of coolant to hold the engine at its optimum operating temperature, irrespective of engine load and operating condtions.
when the engine is running and coolant will become hot to its operating temperature, the cooling system is under pressure, coolant will overflow and goes to coolant reservoir.when the engine goes cold coolant will go back to the rediator.
The coolant for a BMW x5 is placed into the coolant overflow tank on the left side of the engine compartment. It should be filled to the full mark when the engine is at operating temperature.
After coolant is added run vehicle to normal operating temperature and re-check coolant level
The sensor is a means for the driver to monitor the operating temperature of the engine .
With standard options a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner with the 383 engine in a low retail situation could be worth, $10,850. Average retail, $27,200. High retail, $48,600. It's all about condition and factory options.
White smoke from tailpipe when engine is at normal operating temperature? Oil mixing with coolant? Coolant mixing with oil? Run engine to normal operating temperature remove dipstick and let a drop fall on hot part of engine - oil will smoke coolant will "sizzle" Misfire at 2 adjacient cylinders?
