The Scottish Gaelic spelling of Campbell is Caimbeul. Pronounced 'kyme'-bul.
(The Irish family Mac Cathmhaoil [MacCawell] anglicized their name as 'Campbell'.)
The name is found in Scotland and northern England but to my knowledge has no Gaelic form unless it is gaelicized as de Caisteal. It's numerous in Ulster where it is
of Scottish origin.
The Irish name Cashel (Ó Caisil) was changed to Cassells in some cases; this is probably the case in the Irish midlands.
If that is the correct spelling, it is not Gaelic.
In Scottish Gaelic it is spelled Mòrag.
MacÌosaig
Easáias (from the Irish Bible); Isaiah in Scottish Gaelic.
In Scots Gaelic MacAulay is MacAmhlaigh; 'the MacAulays' however is Clann 'IcAmhlaigh.
duine as Óileáin Sgitheanach / Albanach
The correct spelling is Gaelic (Scottish or Irish dialects).
The spelling doesn't appear to be correct.
Irish (Gaelic): Éirinn go brách (aer'-rin guh brawch) Scottish Gaelic: ...
In Irish it's "Uilliam" In Scottish Gaelic: Uilleam; Liam is more common in Irish.
It appears there is no Irish or Scottish Gaelic version of Genevieve. It would remain the same.
A phonetic spelling is Miséil in Irish Gaelic, but Michelle is also used.
