Read the spec on every tire you purchase, they all say what you need to have. Each tire is different. The print is is very small near the rim.

Like Answer 3 says, the spec is in the trunk. Anyone who believes the tire manufacter knows the car's recommended pressure, should take an automotive maintenance course. The spec on the tire is the "maximum" tire pressure, not the car's specification.
