Get the original replacement shocks from the dealer/mopar, everything else will be either too stiff or too soft.

I just did it in my 1994 Grand Cherokee. It's pretty simple. A new reservoir cost me $34 at my local Jeep dealer. It's pretty much a matter of disconnecting the hose, unscrewing the old one, screwing in the new one, and reconnecting the hose. Took me less than an hour.
