Check the switch & wiring first. Switches can sometimes be exchanged with another to test it (rear door, passenger door switches). Check to see if it's the same first before trying this. A lot of cars have wiring problems in the hinge area as this is where the wires going from the body to the doors bend a lot & corrode. If its a motor, a guess would be $2-300.00 + labour. check with your dealer or local parts supplier. Hopefully it's not sold as part of the window regulator.

Start by checking battery voltage and then use a test light to check for power at the starter when the button is pressed. If you have power at the starter with the button pressed it could be a bad starter. If no power at the starter then check into wiring and/or relays.
