I have a 1993 Dodge D350 cummins diesel engine how can I get more power out of it?

bigger turbo, injectors you can also put an HP chip in it sorry this guy is incorrect with the chip answer dodge has a mechanical fuel pump till 1998 so if you know a good diesel mech you can have them turn your stock pump up to get more power. but before you do any thing get a K&N air filter and put a straight pipe on it. these two will help and you should get better fuel milage if that's not good then injectors and a turbo

How do you remove the fuel heater on dodge cummins D350?

take the fuel filter off. there is a threaded nipple that the filter was screwed onto. on th bottom of that there is a slot. i made my own tool out of a chisel and a rachet to get it out but a wide blade screwdriver or vise grips will work too. take that nipple out and the heater will fall off with it. then call cummins and get the nipple they sell for a single fuel filter setup (that motor probably came out of a medium duty truck. 6bt engines from equipment and such had dual filters you dont want that.) and install it in the housing without the heater. the nipple is just shorter and fits the cummins filter. then put on your cummins filter and your all done

What is the towing capacity of a 1986 Dodge RAM pickup?

For a dodge ram 150 the towing capicity is 1/2 ton for 250 3/4 ton 350 it is 1 ton. I think the 1/4 ton is the ram 50 Nope. The numeric model designations do NOT directly correlate to towing capacity, instead, the numeric model designations directly pertain to load capacity - which is the weight that a particular model can hold inside its own pick-up bed (box). Therefore, a D150 is the half-ton designation and the D250 and D350 are the 3/4 and 1 ton designations, respectively. As a practical matter, most pickups have official load capacities greater than the industry standard model categories of 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton and 1 ton meaning that each of the prior identified D150, D250 & D350 models will probably be rated at more than the 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton and 1 ton, respectively. Towing capacity is the ability to pull another object. The only relation a model number has to towing capacity is that the larger the load capacity, usually the greater the towing capacity. A D350 will commonly have a towing capacity of 3 or 4 tons (6,000 - 8,000 lbs.). The actual towing capacitydepends on many factors like engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, etc., and can vary widely with-in each model category. For instance, a D150 may be a 6 or 8 cylinder truck and each will have a different max. towing capacity due to different engine and transmission capabilities. In the case of Dodge, a four-wheel-drive pick-up carries a "W" in place of the "D" resulting in W150, W250 & W350 models. The original Owner's Manual is the best source for towing specs., but sometime you can get the info from another year of vehicle if the models have not change significantly. Self serve rental places sometimes have this towing info available over the phone.

1993 Dodge D350 cummins engine oil pressure gauge drops when you excelerate When you let off the excelerator the oil pressure goes back up Engine runs fine?

first off, has it been doing it ever since you got it...or did it just all of a sudden start happening... if it's a new problem, I'd have the oil pressure checked...also, is it charging ok(gauges)... also, the sending unit may be faulty at high oil pressures... got good oil? I recommend 20w-50 with LUCAS additive for just about any motor, especially a diesel....good luck:)
