The Z-28 has more horsepower, better (stiffer) suspension for improved handling, quicker steering, and generally a few other options the rallysport doesn't have. The Z-28 is considered the top-of-the-line camaro, with the RS one step down. The only possible exception to this is the last of the fourth generation SuperSport camaros. Chevrolet went whole-hog on these and stuffed a Corvette HP 350 in them to make them the fastest camaro for their model year.
Stock 1993-1997 Camaro (non z28 or Rs) came with a 3.4 sfi motor. All the rs camaros came with the 3.8 sfi motor. So no there is no difference
There was no RS Camaro in 1994.
usually engine size. all Z28 are either 5.0 or 5.7 and the RS is either a V6 (3.8 I think) or a 5.0. If the Z and the RS both have 5.0's there will be engine enhancements such as throttle body injection in the RS where as the Z28 had tuned port injection, and other minor mods to the engine and suspension. In other words the Z28 was a little bit better and faster than the 8 cylinder RS.
Yes
I believe the 305 TBI was in the RS models. the Z28 had 305 ad 350 TPI (tuned port injection)
There Are 4 Types Of Camaros The Regular Then The RS Then The Z28 Then The SS
the ss stands for super sport and rs stands for rally sport ... z28 .... your guess is as good as mine , ss is the best in my eyes .
None, the RS package wasn't available on the Camaro in 1984
89 was the first year the RS designation came to thethird gen camaro. It came with a V6 or an optional 305 upgrade.
82-92 all models, camaro, berlinetta, rs, z28 and iroc-z. only difference is hood styling, rear spoiler options, engine size, t-top/hardtop/sun or moonroof and ground effects.
find a posi out of a z28 and swap the whole axle assembly
1991 to 1992 rs or z28
