the ss stands for super sport and rs stands for rally sport ... z28 .... your guess is as good as mine , ss is the best in my eyes .
usually engine size. all Z28 are either 5.0 or 5.7 and the RS is either a V6 (3.8 I think) or a 5.0. If the Z and the RS both have 5.0's there will be engine enhancements such as throttle body injection in the RS where as the Z28 had tuned port injection, and other minor mods to the engine and suspension. In other words the Z28 was a little bit better and faster than the 8 cylinder RS.
Stock 1993-1997 Camaro (non z28 or Rs) came with a 3.4 sfi motor. All the rs camaros came with the 3.8 sfi motor. So no there is no difference
There was no RS Camaro in 1994.
I believe the 305 TBI was in the RS models. the Z28 had 305 ad 350 TPI (tuned port injection)
well a few spec are needed on the car is it a z28 or a RS? if its a z28 does it have a single or dual exhaust hp tq RS= 170@4000 255@2400 Z28 single exhaust= 205@4200 285@3200 Z28 dual exhaust= 230@4400 300@3200 RS TBI 170 RS TPI 215
rs is base model, v-6s now days, 305cid back in the day 93-02: the rs has 200 hp and the z28 has 305 hp.... i think you've got it from here
The 350 was not offered in the RS.It could only be had in the Z28 unless it wasa B4C police package car which was a Z28 with RS trim.
None, the RS package wasn't available on the Camaro in 1984
find a posi out of a z28 and swap the whole axle assembly
rs.100
ss is the best you can getDepends on year. 93-97 the SS was VERY VERYslightlyfaster but a CAI on the z28 negates that advantage quite easily.98-02 there was ZERO differencesin the performance of a Z28 vs SS.2010+ The RS is a 6 cylinder car and the SS is the 8 cylinder performance version. In these years the SS will blow the doors off an RS.
82-92 are interchangeable
