the mass air flow sensor detects the flowing of mass air into the engine while the mass air flow meter detects the amount of mass air flowing into the ingine.
Between the air filter box and the throttle body.
The oxygen sensor is more commonly known as a lambda sensor at it monitors the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gasses going through the exhaust, the Mass air flow meter monitors the incoming air coming through the air intake before it enters the engine.
where is the air flow sensor on a 1997 tacoma
it principle denpend on what kind of flow meter. example, magnetic flow meter, it use magnetic force to measuring or coriolis flow meter which is use vibrated capilary tube as sensor. or more info you might watch on youtube.
The IAT sensor is mounted on the mass air flow meter.
From my experience and basic knowledge of owning a 1.8 and 2.2 engine, i believe i carries a MAF Sensor...The 2.2 carries an air flow meter...
I believe it is inside the Air Meter. It also can be called the mass air flow sensor.
The thermal mass meter measures gas flow based on the concept of convective heat transfer. The Sage flow meters are available in either inline flow bodies or insertion-style. The meter’s probe inserts into a gas stream of a pipe, stack, or duct in either case. Toward the tip of the meter’s probe are two sensors. These sensors are resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) or resistance thermometers and measure temperature. The RTDs consist of durable reference-grade platinum windings clad in a protective 316 SS or Hastelloy C sheath. One of the RTDs is heated by an integrated circuit and functions as the flow sensor, while a second RTD acts as the reference sensor and determines the gas temperature. The Sage proprietary circuitry maintains a continuous overheat between the flow sensor and reference sensor. As gas flows by the heated RTD, flowing gas molecules transport heat away from it, and as a result, the sensor cools, and the energy is lost. The circuit balance disrupts, and the temperature difference (ΔT) between the heated RTD and the reference RTD changes. Within a second, the circuit restores the lost energy by heating the flow sensor to adjust the overheat temperature. The electrical power required to sustain this overheat denotes the mass flow signal.
the difference between flow and motion is well flow is like floating and motion is the way you move
difference between laminar air flow & reverse laminar air flow
try the air flow meter
It is built into the air flow meter.
