Most people, ourselves included, tend to use the terms airplane and aircraft synonymously. If you want to be technically correct, however, there is a distinction. The dictionary defines an aircraft as any craft that flies through the air, whether it be an airplane, helicopter, missile, glider, balloon, blimp, or any other vehicle that uses the air to generate lift for flight. The term airplane, on the other hand, is more specific and refers only to a powered vehicle that relies on fixed wings to generate lift. A Boeing 747 commercial airliner is both an airplane and an aircraft while the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter is an aircraft but not an airplane.
Both are same.
ANS 2 - Not necessarily. An aeroplane has wings (that is the 'plane' part of the word.) - An aircraft is any machine that flies. A helicopter is an aircraft, but NOT an aeoplane. Zeppelins and rigid ballons are aircraft, but NOT aeroplanes.
Aeroplane is a general term for any type of flying aircraft. A jet plane is one that is powered by jet engines.
an Airship is an aircraft of the lighter-than-air type sustained in the air by gas an aeroplane in a mechanically propelled heavier-than-air flying machine
Aeroplane doors should not be opened during flight. I think one of the reasons has to do with the stability of the aircraft. An aeroplane inside is isolated from the outside. There is no exchange of pressure between the outside and the inside. Pilots are able to control the aircraft using elevator, ailerons, rudder, spoilers etc. When you open the door, then another fact that need to be controlled is introduced in the equation - pressure difference. Unfortunately such kind of pressure difference together with high speeds and high altitudes makes it impossible for the pilots to control the aircraft anymore.
the dress of the pilots are different
Aeroplane, aircraft.
No, aircraft came first.
Yes. Same as you, in an aeroplane or other aircraft.
aeroplane, jet, aircraft, airbus
Aircraft do have propellers , unless they are jets.
Grounding the aircraft.
Yes, "aeroplane" is a noun. It is a type of aircraft that is used for flying passengers and cargo through the air.
The first aircraft to have wings was the Wright Flyer, the first aeroplane to fly in 1901.
