It will bolt right in but, the "Y" pipe on the exhaust system from the 305 will not fit on to the 350.
Seriously? A 305 Chevy motor does not take "transmission fluid"! The transmission takes transmission fluid, and the motor takes oil. The 305 should hold 5 quarts of oil I believe. If the Buick 305 is really a Chevy 305, then the motor mounts will interchange with a Chevy 350.
If it's an automatic, it goes in the dipstick tube. There are special funnels available for this purpose.
As long as the 350 is a fuel injected engine / TBI / Throttle Body Injection engine there is NO difference.
