The 1997 Chevrolet blazer modulator valve is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The valve will be on the passenger side of the firewall.

On a 1997 Ford Ranger , 4.0 EFI engine : The PCV valve is on the top of the drivers side engine valve cover , near the rear
The PCV valve on a 1997 Toyota Avalon is located on top of the engine. It connects the left valve cover with the intake.
You can find the PCV valve for your 1997 Mitsubishi Montero on top of the engine. The PCV valve will be in front of the air cleaner housing.
On top of your engine you should see a cover with writing on it Triton 5.4L or Triton 4.6L, exc. depending on year. These covers are on the 1997 to 2009 ford trucks.
The 5.4 Triton was optional from 1997 to 2005, and standard from 2005 - 2014. It is not available in the 2015 model - only the 3.5L Ecoboost V6 is.
