The firing order should be stamped on the intake if its a stock intake manifold. I'm going to assume it is a v8 model. The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. You can find a bit more info on the topic here:

It depends on which engine you are talking about. For early small block Chevy V8 the firing order is 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2 with the cylinders numbered odd (1 3 5 7) on the drivers side and (2 4 6 8) on the passengers side.

Zuendfolge (firing order) is stamped right under the generator mount on type 1 engines. 1432

1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2 with 1,3,5,7 on the left side and 2,4,6,8 on the right side.jd 1,3,5,7 is on the drivers side and 2,4,6,8 is on the passenger side and the distriburetor rotates clockwise.

6, to 8 degrees advanced, or BTDC, will be about all you will be able to run, on pump gas.

To remove the igniton lock, remove the steering wheel and turn signal switch housing. From there you will be able to see the lock which holds the ignition lock into place. slide a screwdriver into the slot and apply pressure. The igntion lock can then be pulled out.

You need to either go to a parts house or a bookstore and buy a Haynes Manual that is specific to your car. There is probably alot of good information you could use.jd
