The cylinder order from the front of the engine is 1-2-3-4-5-6. With that in mind, the firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4 The Distributor spins clockwise, and the distributor leads are wired the same. The # 1 dist lead is the left most front distributor plug, so if you're looking at the distributor from the front of the car as if standing at the bumper, it would be like the crude diagram that follows: 5 1 3 4 6 2

This is the same for virtually every inline six on the road today. The firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4 with number one at the front.
