To be 100% sure it is 1-2-3-4-5-6. Your number one Cylinder is located on the backside of the engine (closest to the windshield) on the Passenger (aka right) side of the engine. Number two is located on the front of the enging (closest to the bumper)farthest right (passenger side). So the cylinder numbers on the back of the engine are 1-3-5 and the cylinders on the front of the vehicle are 2-4-6. I am not 100% sure about 1992, but on 1995, 3.1 V6, firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6. I do believe it's the same on 1992 model.
