Standing in front of the vehicle looking at the the coil packs, there are three of them. From left to right, the first coil pack is 1 & 4, the second coil pack is 6 & 3, and the third coil pack is 2 & 5. Now still standing in front of the engine, the first three cylinders in front of the radiator are 2,4 & 6 and the last three near the firewall are 1,3 & 5. The firing order is 1,2,3,4,5,6 if it is a 2.8 or 3.1. What you did not say is what engine it has (2.8 VIN "W" or 3.1 VIN "T") and if it is a Cutlass Supreme or Ciera or what Cutlass.

The firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6....However, I imagine you are wanting this...Facing the engine, the back cylinders are left to right...1-3-5. The front are 2-4-6. The coils fire 1-4-6-3-2-5 from left to right. 1 to 1....2 to 2 etc.
