I believe for 1995 and 1996 ( the last year of the 5.0 L in the F-150 ) the spark plug firing order was the same as the 5.8 L ( 1 - 3 - 7 - 2 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 8 ) See if if you can find an information sticker in the front area of your engine compartment The distributor rotor turns COUNTERCLOCKWISE The marked # 1 position on the distributor cap faces to the rear and slightly towards the drivers side of the engine The engine cylinders / spark plugs are numbered : passenger side , front to rear , 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 and drivers side , front to rear , 5 , 6 , 7 , 8
