Firing order is 1-4-3-2
straight down from the front of the air filter. There are 2 coils mounted to the ignition control module. the firing order starting from the bottom of the coil packs is 1-4-2-3. Plug 1 is on the passanger side of the car.

The firing order for all air cooled VW engines is 1-4-3-2, the cylinder numbers are spelled out on the cylinder sheetmetal near the spark plugs.
To remove the air vents on a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am GT, a person will have to pry them out with a screwdriver. Apply gentle pressure between the vent and the dash.

I have a 1989 sunbird with the 2.0 and under air cleaner on one of the intake runners is casted on there the firing order, not sure if there all like that, but you can start off looking there, if you don't have a Haynes manual.
