The firing order on a three cylinder engine can be 1-2-3 or it can be 1-3-2. depends on the manufacturer. I know Saab uses the 1-2-3 firing order. Subaru and BMW use the 1-3-2 firing order.
1-3-4-2 This is also the firing order of EVERY IN-LINE four cylinder engine. The firing order of flat-four engines (Subaru, Volkswagen and Porsche) differ.

that would most likely indicate that your 3rd cylinder is not firing correctly or firein late A.E. "missfire" i would first check your spark plugs, to see if their good, and if they are i would check your timing
