Check the Vehicle Emission Control Information ( VECI ) decal located in the
front of the engine compartment ( it will show what type of spark plugs to use
and the spark plug gap )
The gap is .052-.056 inches.
the spark plug gap is .054in. for 2003 ford focus.
The recommended spark plug gap for a 2003 Ford Expedition 4.6 is .054"
.054 inch , according to fordparts.com
The owner Guide shows ( .052 to .056 inch ) but confirm with the Vehicle Emissions Control Information ( VECI ) decal in the engine compartment
hi
You should always check the gap before putting sparkplugs in.There's no guarantee the manufacturer has it right for your specific make/brand/model/engine.See "Related Questions" below for more

Do you mean re-gap the plugs? Get a spark plug gapper, and set the gap to between .052-.056.
Change the sparkplugs and gap them correctly.Clean the fuel injectors.Make sure air filter is clean. If that dont fix it get a FORD! LOL
No, it is not necessary to change the spark plugs on your 2003 Ford Winstar at 30,000 miles. It has Platinum Plugs from the factory and they have a life span of approximately 100,000 miles. I suggest checking the gap and cleaning them at 50-60M miles, but not replacing until around 100K.
