A Bebe stylist is another name for a sales associate, however the duties and expectations exceed those of an ordinary associate of a non- high fashion environment.

You must be in CURRENT Bebe clothing, and if not you are to wear all black. You are expected to be in heels at all times, unless you are doing inventory or have an understanding Store manager that may let you change into fashionable flats (usually this is approved if it is etremely busy and you have to increase the pace to quickly service clients)

You should also try to come in full makeup and hair should be very presentable and current. Attitude should be bubbly, upbeat, and ready to serve your clients.

This is not a play job. If you go in playing it will be reflected in you check. you have to be about your money in order to survive. You will recieve a base pay of about $8 an hour. If you meet the goal of selling $200 per hour you will get that plus your 5% commision on what you have sold. Company standards are to have a UPT of a 2. which means that on average you should sell no less than 2 items per transaction.

The environment is etremely competitive! be careful, girls will steal your clients which = your money.

You also have to be knowledgable about the product! Knowing how something fits will save u time. (time to help another client and make you more money) If you know that a particular shoe or skirt runs smaller you will give the client the size she requested and also the size smaller that you already know she will need. This saves you time and you will not have to come back. You now can be helping another client, which makes you more money.

Being a stylist also involves store front and display changes which can take hours after closing. Be prepared for changing everything around to the point that it looks like a new store. This can be scheduled after work or early in the am before it opens. Be very careful, can result in cuts (metal displays)

There will most likely be in store (independent) competitions held to help drive sales for the store put together by the store, co, and slaes manager. They may put in on a giftcard to the store, etc.

Overall tis is a great company to work for. But it all comes down to the particular store that you will be working at, your ability to work well with others, and if you are a go-getter.
