How do you remove the rear bumper cover on a 2006 Chrysler 300?

It's a pretty easy process. There are plastic retainers holding the bumper cover on right where the trunk closes at. Then there are a few in each wheel well. And there are some on the bottom of the bumper cover. The best place to start is by taking out the bottom ones. Then the ones inside the rear fenders on each side. Then the top ones, then you should be able to then slide the bumper away from the body of the car. For extra wiggle room, you can remove the rear tail lights, this will especially help during installation. It's a straight forward job and pretty easy to do, no more than 30 min. If you have chrome trim to transfer, then you'll spend time trying to not break the clips and will add some time to the job.

How to Learn All About Bumper Repair?

Bumper repair is the most common form of automobile repair performed in the United States. Front and rear bumper damage is very common because people tend to back up and hit things. The front bumper is more expensive to replace than the rear bumper, because the front bumper usually has more attachments and protective features to protect the car’s engine.Bumper repair is not cheap, especially if the front bumper has been hit hard and damaged severely. Depending on the car bumper, repair can cost anywhere from $500-$2000 and require days of work by the mechanic. Bumper repair is the most common form of automobile repair done in the United States and Europe. If you are looking to save money bumper repair can be avoided by simply replacing the entire front bumper and buying a stock part from the car manufacturer.Unfortunately, this method of saving money can take much more time than simply having the front bumper repair. You will have to wait on the car manufacturer to send the entire part to you, and then you will have to paint the bumper or get it painted by a professional. It is recommended that you get the bumper painted by a professional so it matches the color of the rest of the car. This method of bumper repair will save you money, but it will take double the amount of time to fix.Do not try to drive your car without the bumper. Driving without bumper is extremely dangerous because it exposes the engine to debris that may fly into it, or if you get into an automobile accident without a bumper, you are going to experience much more damage to the rest of the car because the bumpers absorb shock.Bumper repair services can be found in the internet by doing a simple search. How do you remove the bumper from a 1995 Ford Escort?

Removing the rear bumper is a relatively easy project. It's best to have two people, but you can probably get this project done with one person if you use extra care. I recently replaced the rear bumper of my 1995 Ford Escort LX Hatchback, but I think the bumper assembly is the same for 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 Ford Escorts. First, there are six retaining nuts that will need to be removed, three on each side of the car. If you look under the car you will quickly see two of the retaining nuts behind the bumper on the passenger and driver side. Remove these two lower retaining nuts first, that way you will eliminate the chance of the bumper falling on you. This should be the only time you are directly under the car. On my hatchback I also had to remove the luggage compartment rear panel to gain access to the four remaining retaining nuts. Removing the interior rear panel was probably the most difficult task because I did not want to damage the cheap plastic plugs that hold the rear inside panel to the body of the car. After removing the panel, remove the four remaining retaining nuts located at the bottom of the rear interior luggage compartment. After removing all six retaining nuts the bumper should slide off the set bolts that are located on each side of the bumper. The set bolts keep the sides of the bumper flush with the car panel. When installing the bumper you will need to guide the new bumper on these set bolts to properly mount the bumper. If you are having difficulting taking off the bumper after you have removed the six retaining nuts, you may have to loosen (not remove) the set bolts. To loosen a set bolt you will need to remove the mud guards located just behind the wheels. When I was removing my bumper I only had to loosen one set bolt about one turn which was difficult enough because there is very little room to work in. The set bolt is located just behind the mud guard. You may need to use a flashlight to see it.

What if two cars backing out of a parking spot and a vehicle coming from your right backs out the two cars collide right rear bumper to right rear bumper who is at fault?

Both partys are at fault and each party will need to file there vehicle under there own insurance. Parking lot accidents are always share fault unless one of the vehicle was parked, but since both vehicles were backing out at the same time, both partys are at fault unless you get a kind person to admit it was there fault.
