For a non-ABS bike the standard tyres sizes are 110/80 front, 160/70 rear. On an ABS model the standard front is 120/70. I have used a 120/70 front tyre on a standard model and a 170/60 rear with no problems. Many have tried these size combinations, but equally as many are wary because they are non-standard. I must say I did not notice any advantage with the larger sizes, but it may increase the range of tyres you can pick from as a 120/70 is more widesprad in some tyer ranges.

It's located on the right side of the bike. Pull the seat off and the right side case and remove the 3 allen bolts holding on the tupperware. I found it by trial and error. Having owned a Honda ST1100, I pulled the left side case and tupperware without even thinking that maybe Honda had switched the battery to the other side of the bike on the ST1300. Yep, it wasn't there.
