I am an officer of 12 years, to my knowledge there is not a strict law of a certain age to babysit in Tennessee. As I know, the average age is 11-12 years. My 12 year old son started babysitting my 3 year old daughter when he was 11. He is very responsible and he said it was easy. I think that children should be trusted with younger SIBLINGS at that age, not strangers kids. I found that my daughter loved it when she was babysat by him.

This would be seen as a minor watching 3 youngerminors, so to answer your question.

Bottom line, it isn't legal nor is it advisable as if something were to go wrong it would be blamed on the adult who seemingly wasn't present and you would probably be charged with neglection of your children and be at risk of social services taking your children off you.

There isn't one. Illinois and Maryland are the only two states that have legislated leaving children home alone and what ages are required to take care of them.
