There are a variety of foods from Italy.

I'm thinking that Pasta is the most common food that I've seen from Italy that made it to the USA.

However, a few other foods from Italy include:
Pasta
Wines
Cheeses including Parmesan Cheese (Parmigiano Reggiano) as well as Romano.
Meats including Salami and Prosciutto Crudo.

Obviously Pizza and Calzone are favorite types of food, obviously locally made, but derived from Italian Cuisine.

Coffee and Espresso would certainly also make the list, but again this is locally brewed, and the beans likely come from Central America and are locally roasted.
