Winchester's of this model have more collectible value than tsome other models. Yours is also an early one, an 1888 vintage per your ser. no. based on most accepted publications though a search of the Winchester Museum records would probably indicate a post 1899 manufactured date. It's condition & caliber is a big factor to it's value, but the major determining issue is condition AND configuration.
You'll need to describe exactly how much of the original finish remains, on all the wooden & metal parts, any pitting or corrosion, chips or cracks in the wood and describe that as an approximate percentage, ie: approximately 50% of original finish remains and the wooden stocks have normal wear & tear bumps & dings but no cracks or chips or missing pieces.
