Systolic Pressure (the other is Diastolic) is the squeezing of the ventricles as they push blood out of the heart and along the arteries to either the body or the lungs.
Diastolic Pressure is when the heart is at its most relaxed after the Systolic squeezing.
ie a Blood Pressure reading of 120/80mm Hg (which is the ideal) is 120mm HG Systolic Pressure - when there is the most force pushing the blood - over 80mm HG - when there is the least force behind the blood flow.
systolic reading denotes the force of contraction of heart and diastolic reading represents relaxation of heart
the pressure of systole or the pressure of the left ventricle pushing blood to the body... can be measured by cutting off the arterial blood flow and slowly letting the pressure off till the artery can push thru the pressure created. that number on a BP cuff becomes the systolic blood pressure
the systolic pressue is the pressue of the blood in the arteries when the heart is actually pushing blood through, and the diastolic is the pressue when the heart is at rest.
Systole is the period of heart contraction within the cardiac cycle.
Systolic means happening during a systole or relating to a systole.
Systolic pressure is what your blood pressure level is when your heart pumps blood. Systolic pressure is taken when the left ventricle of the heart contracts.

Pulse pressure is the difference between the systolic and diastolic blood pressure readings.
Pulse or systolic pressure.
The systolic pressure is the highest pressure measured against the walls of blood vessels.
