The earliest serial number listed on the Singer website is 611000. That machine was made in 1871. http://www.singerco.com/support/serial_numbers.html It is unlikely that your machine is older than that, perhaps you copied a part number from a part, rather than the actual serial number.
I am not sure on the model, however, with that serial number, according to the Singer site, was made in Clydebank, Scotland during 1951-1952. So you should, based on the date it was made, be able to find the model. Good Luck!
