Christianity.

In parts of Western Europe, especially Ireland France, Spain and Portugal, the Christian denomination is mostly Roman catholic. In Scandinavia, Germany and Switzerland it is mostly Lutheran. In the UK it is mostly Anglican.

It was Christianity for a long time and many people have become non-practicing. Which means someone who says that they are Christian but don't act like it. So now missionaries are being sent to Europe again, in some areas like Estonia, and so on.
