The Prime Minister has a country house where he can spend some of his time, called Chequers, near Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire.
His or her official residence whilst in office is No.10 Downing Street, a large Georgian town house in Westminster near to the Houses of Parliament, that has been the Prime Minister's oficial residence for the past 200 years or so. It's often just referred to as 'Number Ten' or 'Downing Street'.
In addition, they also have the use of a country estate called Chequers, which was gifted by the nation fo Prime Ministerial use in 1917.
