His or her official residence whilst in office is No.10 Downing Street, a large Georgian town house in Westminster near to the Houses of Parliament, that has been the Prime Minister's oficial residence for the past 200 years or so. It's often just referred to as 'Number Ten' or 'Downing Street'.

In addition, they also have the use of a country estate called Chequers, which was gifted by the nation fo Prime Ministerial use in 1917.

But these are not their real homes- they only have the use of them for as long as they are in office, and have to move out when their tenure comes to an end. Of course they also have their own private homes, which are usually located in the electoral constituency that they represent.

The official home of the Prime Minister is no.10 Downing Street, a large Georgian town house in Westminster near to the Houses of Parliament which has been the home of all serving Premiers for the past 200 years or so.

The PM also has the use of the country manor of Chequers, which was gifted by the nation in 1917 for use by the serving Premier.

However, these aren't the PM's real actual homes- he or she only lives in them for as long as they are in office. Their own private homes are usually based in the constituency which they represent in Parliament- for example, when Tony Blair was in office, as well as being Prime Minister he was also MP for the district of Sedgefield in the North East of England, so his home was there, and so on for all Premiers.

The Prime Minister of Great Britain (please don't confuse England and Britain - it's wrong and annoying!) lives officially at :

"Number 10, Downing Street" in London.

The Office of the prime minister is often just refered to as "Number 10" or "Downing Street" in the same way at "The White House" is used in the US.
