∙ 13y agoShakespear portrays Romeos feelings for Rosaline as childish, ficle and fleeting. The point of Romeo's affections towards Rosaline in the beginning of the play are to contrast with his true feelings towards Juliet towards the end, and to highlight Romeo's changes emotionally.
