Maramag is undeniably the center of Bukidnon and one of the progressive municipalities of the province. The highway that sliced through the heart of Maramag will take you to Cagayan de Oro City, Lanao del sur, Cotabato, and Davao City.

It has banks, pawnshops, a sugarmill, public and private schools for nursery, primary and secondary, TESDA accredited schools and colleges. It also have cellular towers, FM radio station, an electric cooperative, a private and emergency hospitals, few private medical clinics, petrol stations, hotels and "B & B", park and a spring resort too.

The Bus Terminal is almost finish with the 24 hour bus access whichever direction you want to go. The Foodcourt is just across the road, restaurants, public market, groceries, pharmacies, "tabo-tabo" on Sundays and thursdays.

It has airlines and ferry agents, post and parcel delivery companies, telephone companies for both local and international, internet connection with several internet cafes, most of the barangay roads are concrete and the making of a Four lane National Highway is ongoing.

I am sure there are several facilities that I have not mentioned, but definitely this is not the same place I grew up years ago. I went home last March 2007 and I am very proud to say that my home town Maramag has changed, and changed for the better of the future.
