Oil pressure on these engines are lower than typical V8 gas engines. Their extremely close tolerances require a lower viscosity (thinner) lubricant to get in those tolerances. Lower viscosity results in lower pressure. It would be a serious mistake to try to get more oil pressure by using a heavier grade oil. You will get higher pressure, but only because your oil is not flowing through is intended route. Normal pressure for these engines when hot are: 6 psi at 1000 RPM--- 18 psi at 2000RPM--- 24 psi at 3000RPM. hope this helps!
The vacuum lines on a 2000 Chevy Silverado run between the intake manifold and multiple valves across the top of the engine. The vacuum pressure is generated by the engine's compression.
195 to 210 is normal
Where is the fuel pressure regulator located on a 1989 chevy silvarado with 5.7 liter engine
A Chevy Silverado truck which is experiencing high oil pressure has a defective oil pump or blockage within the oil passages. This can lead to engine failure as components will not receive adequate lucubration.
Standing in the front of the engine, It will be on the top right rear of the engine block.
It is screewed into the top of the engine block right behind the distributor.
