I have a 2007 Mule 4x4 610 and the oil capacity is 1.5 U.S. quarts. (1.4 L.)
The recommended type of oil to use for a Kawasaki 610 Mule is API SF. Th610 Mule will hold approximately 1.5 quarts of oil.

The oil dipstick, on your Kawasaki Mule 610, can be found on the right side of the engine. The top to the oil dipstick should be colored black.
Take it to your nearest certified Kawasaki dealer...
The Kawasaki 610 holds 1.5 US qt in a completely dry engine. You should never overfill the motor oil. You can check the motor oil with the motor oil dipstick. 1.37 Qt if changing oil and and removing filter. 1.1 us qt if your not removing filter. this is straight from the Kawasaki mule dealer mechanic guide. and on a normal oil change with filter removed its barley over 1 QT.
An oil change should be done according to mileage and not necessarily time changes. You can give the Kawasaki Mule 610 an oil change after every 10,000 kilometers.

could it be pressure on tank due to unvented gas cap? try running with vented cap.
Below the spark plug
As with all engineÊdesigns, the spark plugs are usually located above the engine block on what is called the cylinder head or cam. For motorbike configurations, the engine is usually under the gas tank. That would be the first place to look for the spark plug of the Mule.
Often, the VIN numbers are located right under the seat on the vertical panel. If they are not there, you may find them when you fold the seat up. If not there, pop up the bed and look on any frame work to where it could be stamped. ::You will find the VIN on your Kawasaki utility vehicle stamped into the frame front cross member between the front wheels of the MULE 520 and 550, or on the right side frame tube just behind the radiator grill at the front of the MULE 2500, 2510, and 2520.:: :: The Mongst ::
