LE by Bacx: The oldest glass icon in Romania is from the 15th century, and it is found in the National Museum of Art (the former Royal Palace), in Bucharest. The icon depicts the Virgin Mary and baby Christ and is named just like that "The virgin Mother with son". It is said, though not for sure, that is was painted by a monk from Moldavia.
